OIS is not a traditional school, college, university or Ofsted-registered educational establishment. We do not claim to provide regulated schooling, formal UK national curriculum education, Ofsted-inspected education, statutory education, accredited school qualifications, or regulated teaching unless expressly stated in writing through an appropriately authorised partner.

Any educational, cultural, training or support activity described on the website should be understood in the context of non-formal learning, educational support, cultural exchange, travel coordination and related services.

4. Website Information

The content on this website is provided for general information only. Although we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current or free from error.

Programme information, prices, availability, dates, itineraries, partner arrangements and service descriptions may change.

You should not rely solely on website content when making a booking or formal decision. Written confirmation from OIS should be obtained before relying on any specific programme, price, itinerary or arrangement.

5. No Professional Advice

Website content does not constitute legal, immigration, financial, medical, travel, safeguarding or professional advice.

Where relevant, users should seek independent advice from appropriately qualified professionals.

OIS does not guarantee visas, immigration outcomes, school admissions, employment outcomes, academic qualifications, business approvals, government approvals or official recognition.

6. Enquiries and Forms

When you submit an enquiry form, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract, booking, guaranteed place, partnership or formal acceptance into any programme.

A contract is only created when OIS confirms the relevant service, terms, price and acceptance in writing.

7. Bookings and Payments

Specific booking terms may be issued separately for trips, programmes, training, events or services.

Where a booking is made, the applicable booking terms may include:

● Programme details

● Payment schedule

● Cancellation terms

● Refund terms

● Travel requirements

● Insurance requirements

● Participant conduct rules

● Parent/guardian consent requirements

● Medical and safeguarding declarations

● Partner provider terms

Where travel services are combined and sold as a package, the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 may apply. UK Government guidance explains that these regulations provide consumer protections for package holidays and linked travel arrangements, including information duties and insolvency protection requirements in relevant circumstances.

8. Travel, Visas and Insurance

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have:

● A valid passport

● Appropriate visa or entry clearance, where required

● Travel insurance

● Medical insurance, where appropriate

● Parental/guardian consent, where required

● Accurate personal and medical information

● Compliance with airline, border, accommodation and activity provider requirements

OIS may provide general support or coordination, but we do not guarantee visa approval, border entry, travel permission or acceptance by third-party providers.

9. Safeguarding and Participant Welfare

Where services involve children or young people, OIS expects all participants, parents, guardians, schools, partners, staff and representatives to support safe, respectful and appropriate conduct.

OIS may refuse participation, remove a participant from an activity, contact parents/guardians, notify authorities, or take other appropriate action where there are safeguarding, welfare, behaviour, safety or legal concerns.

The UK’s statutory safeguarding guidance for schools and colleges states that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Although OIS is not an Ofsted-registered school, this principle informs our safeguarding approach.
